Homemade Miracle Hand Cream Recipe

Homemade Miracle Hand Cream:

16 oz. Baby Lotion
8 oz. Petroleum Jelly
8 oz. Vitamin E Cream

Mix with electric mixer until it is whipped and fluffy.
Put into containers and use daily.

Notes:
  • Because of the petroleum jelly, this cream is a little bit greasy. I don’t think it’s too much of a problem, but you don’t want to use it right before you are going to do something that would be affected by that. It does soak in pretty fast.
  • I love to use this at night before I go to bed. I use it on my hands, elbows, feet and on my face around my eyes and mouth. You’ll see a difference the first day you use it.
  • It is NOT scent free. I’ve had requests from people to make them a scent free version and I haven’t been able to find the ingredients in a scent free version that would be cost effective, in my opinion, BUT:
  • I have had many friends with bad eczema and sensitive skin who have used this and not been bothered by the scent.
  • I use the Walmart brand lotion and petroleum jelly which makes this a very cost effective cream.
  • I find the vitamin E cream at walmart as well; it comes in a pack of 2 4-oz jars for less than $4.
  • I’ve also made it with the name brand lotion and petroleum jelly in the cocoa butter scent; YUMMY and it makes a great gift!
  • For my own use, I put the finished cream back in the jars I just emptied (the vitamin E and petroleum jelly jars) but if you are giving it away, they have 4 packs of plastic jars at Dollar Tree that are perfect for this.
